Web Developer

Overview

We are a successful women’s fashion brand based on the heart of London’s West End. Our eCommerce function support specific websites for 4 countries at the moment in addition to fulfilling to over fifty countries globally.

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team to support the day to day development, support and maintenance of the company’s websites. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of larger scale Ecommerce projects..

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years commercial web development experience in a retail environment building websites using PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS,.

Role and Responsibilities

• Working closely with the creative and web content team to develop templates for web pages (developing HTML templates with CMS integration in mind)

• Produce, build and test weekly customer emails

• Implement and manage 3rd party tags and feeds required to support the business operation

• Undertake general site maintenance and provide day to day first line technical support to the wider eCommerce team
• Liaise with the 3rd party eCommerce platform provider (and wider supplier base) where required to resolve issues, agree new developments and generally keep the site working at optimal performance

• Thorough testing of all developments/changes prior to release (operating with an uncompromising attention to detail)
